In 2000-2001, I visited Cambridge University in England as a visiting scholar in the Department of Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. During my stay, I began to snap photos of single gloves that had been dropped on the ground. I never "arranged" the gloves and kept this as one of my primary rules when taking these photos. I've gotten quite a few stares from inquisitive strangers as I've taken photos of these lone gloves. After returning from England I continued the project in NYC and Austin, Texas, where I live. I'm not trying to reconnect these gloves to their owners, however, if you see something that looks familiar, let me know. I think the word is out now, because there are several lost glove projects and websites popping up all over the place, even one featured on the evening news. Here are a few of my gloves and the places where I found them. Enjoy
